Dr. Forrest Cooper

Dr. Forrest Cooper grew up in the Okanagan and is devoted to providing the best possible care to his patients in order that they can enjoy the Okanagan as he does. After completing his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland, OR, Dr. Cooper made the easy decision to move back to the sunny Okanagan. Here he spends his free time on the lake in the summer and the ski hill in the Winter.

With a hands on approach, Dr. Cooper’s passions lie in helping people return to their normal daily activities and their pursuit of optimal health. This includes professional athletes who want to achieve higher performance in their sport as well as the weekend warriors who want to get out for a hike through the Skaha bluffs or pull out their wake surf board and get out on the lake.


Dr. N Todd Potter

Dr. Todd Potter has been a member of the Skaha Chiropractic team since graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (Toronto) in 1994.  Prior to entering the chiropractic profession, Dr. Potter worked as a paramedic in Oliver during the summer months while attending the University of BC, where he graduated with a science degree in Biopsychology.  He also spent many years teaching as a ski instructor at Mt. Baldy ski resort in Oliver.  Upon completion of his chiropractic degree, it was an easy choice to return to the Okanagan, so he could be close to family and friends. 

Dr. Potter is a hands on chiropractor, implementing traditional, diversified technique as his primary treatment of choice.  Activator adjusting and drop table adjustments are also used in his practice.  He has years of experience in treating patients of all ages with a wide range of ailments.  He is comfortable assisting patients achieve their health goals, whether it is symptomatic relief of an acute injury, or a more wellness based approach.   


Dr. Karen Bonina 

Dr. Karen grew up a North Vancouver local, surrounded by the mountains, the ocean, and endless outdoor activities. She grew up playing many sports, mainly soccer and field hockey, and was in and out of Chiropractors’ and Physiotherapists’ offices with injuries throughout her athletic career. From then, she always knew she wanted a career where she could help people reach their health and wellness goals and to live a more pain-free life. Dr. Karen practices diversified technique, implementing a variety of adjusting and myofascial release techniques specific to your needs!

 

She graduated with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBCO in 2018, and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2022, spending 1 year treating in the Palmer Outpatient Clinic. She has spent the last 7 years studying the human body, movement patterns, and dysfunctions in the bones, joints, and soft tissues. Most importantly she’s learned that health and function aren't one-size-fits-all, and treatment will look different for everyone!
